Janks and Roth Publish Chapter in a New Book about the Heart


Former Oakland University graduate student Deborah Janks and Professor Brad Roth of the Department of Physics wrote a chapter titled The Biodomain Theory of Pacing in the recently published book Cardiac Bioelectric Therapy. Janks graduated in 2006 with a PhD in Biomedical Sciences: Medical Physics, and won the 2007 OU Dissertation and Thesis award for her dissertation Unipolar Stimulation of Cardiac Tissue. She is now a Post Doctoral Associate at the University of Vermont College of Medicine.
