The panel will discuss the Michigan economy and its impact on the greater Rochester area. Other panel members include Dan Hunter, manager, Oakland County Economic Development Department; Kristi Trevarrow, executive director; Rochester Downtown Development Authority; and from the City of Rochester Hills, Dan Casey, manager of economic development, and Ed Anzek, director of planning development.
The event will be held Wednesday, Nov. 19, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Rochester Hills Public Library, 500 Olde Towne Road.
YPR was created by the Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Oakland University Alumni Association (OUAA) to provide leadership and mentoring opportunities by advancing professional and business development with a focus on civic, cultural and educational interests for the benefit of Rochester, Rochester Hills and Oakland Township.
Any young person in the greater Rochester area is welcome to join. Participants must be chamber members in good standing. Business membership rates vary, and student membership in the chamber is available for $50 annually. This includes access to YPR as well as to the many benefits membership in the Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce has to provide. OUAA members are eligible for a discounted chamber membership rate.
