Midnite Madnezz kicks off college basketball season

O’rena doors will open at 9:45 p.m. for the pep rally. This spirited event will feature OU athletes and coaches, dance and cheer team performances, Hooper and the Flight Crew, and special appearances by OU administrators and student leaders. The first thousand fans through the door will receive an OU baseball cap. Students also have the chance to win a number of prizes during the rally, including scholarship awards courtesy of the Office of the President and a flat screen TV. 

An after-party will be held in the P-16 parking lot from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m., featuring a laser light show, live entertainment and video games on big screens.

 

The Midnite Madnezz events are co-sponsored by Academic Affairs, the OU Alumni Association, Athletics, Center for Student Activities, Finance and Administration, Government Relations, Kresge Library, Office of Legal Affairs and General Counsel, Office of the President, Outreach, School of Business Administration, School of Education and Human Services, School of Health Sciences, School of Nursing, Student Affairs, Student Congress, Student Program Board, University Communications and Marketing, and University Relations.
