The OUPD’s new emergency text message alert system will be tested on Monday, Sept. 22, at approximately 1 p.m. A test message will be sent via text and voice to registered subscribers.
If you wish to subscribe to receive text message alerts, please visit the Emergency Preparedness Web site at www.oakland.edu/ready. Only individuals who register before 6 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 22, will receive the test message.
If you registered to receive text or voice message alerts via the new system and you do not receive the test message on Monday afternoon, please e-mail thenews@oakland.edu. Include your OU e-mail address, name, cell service provider, and whether you are an OU student, staff or faculty member.
