Oakland University Athletics is proud to announce the launch of the 2008-09 Grizz Kidz Club. The Kidz Club is exclusive for children in eighth grade and under and allows for active involvement and participation in OU Athletics. Kidz Club members will enjoy the opportunity to meet and greet with OU athletes, gain free entry to all home contests, receive free club shirts and giveaways, sit in reserved seating at OU basketball games and many more benefits.
Kidz Club members ages 8-12 are invited to join the Grizz Kidz Crew and participate in OU Athletics on the court or on the field. The Kidz Crew is geared toward children interested in being a ball boy/girl for OU Athletic events. The Kidz Crew is available for men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s soccer, baseball, softball and volleyball.
The Grizz Kidz Kickoff event, originally scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 20, at 2 p.m., has been postponed as the group hopes to further build its membership base before this exciting event. The new Kickoff is set for Friday, Nov. 14, at 5 p.m. in the Elliott Room located on the southside of the O'Rena. Food, beverage and giveaways will be provided for parents and their Grizz Kid(z). If you would like your child to become a member of the Grizz Kidz Club, please complete the Grizz Kidz Club application available under “Tickets” at www.ougrizzlies.com and return it to the address provided no later than Friday, Oct. 17.
