Upcoming Transfer Open Houses will give community college and university students interested in transferring to Oakland University the opportunity to learn more about the distinctive Oakland education and admission process. The next open house is planned for Wednesday, July 16 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Prospective students will be able to ask questions about requirements or opportunities from academic advisers from each department. The future Golden Grizzlies can apply to OU and receive an immediate admissions decision by bringing unofficial transcripts from each college or university attending to the open house. Students are asked to bring two copies of each transcript.
There also will be information about academic programs, admissions requirements, financial aid, general education requirements and transfer credit procedures. Representatives will be available to answer questions and concerns about transferring credits from other institutions. Accepted students can sign up for orientation at the open house as well.
