SAIL class registration for undergraduate students re-opens Tuesday, July 1 and is available through Tuesday, Sept. 9.
Registration for graduate students is currently open through Tuesday, Sept. 9. Registration can be accessed through OU’s portal. Visit www.oakland.edu then click the SAIL button or go directly to https://sail.oakland.edu
For fall 2008 registration, course prerequisites for mathematics, statistics, psychology (MTH, MOR, MTE, STA, APM, PSY) and all School of Business Administration courses will be verified during the registration process and will be strictly enforced. Students who plan to register for a course in one of these areas should make certain they have completed the appropriate prerequisite.
Students will be unable to register for a course for which they do not meet the approved prerequisite. If students are enrolled currently in a prerequisite course, they will be permitted to register for the next course. The process assumes that students will complete the prerequisite course successfully. If however, they do not complete the prerequisite course with the required grade, they will not be permitted to remain in the next course.
Students who have completed the prerequisite course at other institutions that will not appear on your Oakland University record at the time of registration should meet with an academic adviser.
The following are recommended means for contacting the advising office in specific units:
Students who are not in good financial standing by early August, meaning they have not paid all prior semester bills, will be taken out of their fall classes. Students will be required to re-enroll for classes based on class availability if they correct their financial standing by paying prior balances in full. To stay in good financial standing, pay all OU bills on or before their due date.
Fall classes will begin Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008 at 5 p.m.
