The Orientation Group Leaders (OGLs) provide a wealth of information during orientation sessions over the summer.

By Rebecca Wyatt Thomas, OU Web Writer

A specially trained group of Oakland University students help incoming freshmen become acquainted with campus, learn about processes and procedures and register for their first classes at OU. The Orientation Group Leaders (OGLs) provide a wealth of information during orientation sessions over the summer, and now other students can learn about what is going on at orientation and on campus through the OGL blog at The News at OU.

OGLs Mark LeMerise and Melissa DeGrandis will split the task of providing weekly orientation updates on The News at OU. They will share information about orientation and their experiences in campus activities.

LeMerise and DeGrandis will return to blogging during Welcome Week, Sept. 2-12, to provide information on campus events, navigating campus and share their Golden Grizzlies pride.

For updates on orientation or campus involvement throughout the summer and during Welcome Week, visit the Orientation Group Leader blog.
