Jacquelyn Wagner to perform with DSO

Jacquelyn Wagner, who earned a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance at Oakland, will solo with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra as part of their concert at Meadow Brook Music Festival on the evening of August 1.

In addition to earning a Master of Music in Voice Performance at Manhattan School of Music, Jacquelyn has had a successful career in Europe. She has performed with the Paris Opera and now sings quite regularly with the Berlin Opera.

She is the daughter of Corbin Wagner, who plays French horn with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. Wagner is one of five DSO members on the Department of Music, Theatre and Dance faculty. Jacquelyn studied with Edie Diggory while doing her undergraduate work.

For more information about the performance or to order tickets, visit the Detroit Symphony Orchestra Web site.
