Workshop for Parents

DESCRIPTION: This workshop is intended for parents or caregivers of children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), 2 – 10 years of age, who would like more information about communication strategies and tools to facilitate improved behavior and relationships with their children. 

The workshop will focus on:
1. Typical communication development
2. Obstacles to communicating with a child with ASD
3. Explore at least 3 options for improving the means by which your child communicates

DATES:
Tuesdays, June 3, 10, 17 and 24
TIME:
1:00-3:00 pm OR 6:30-8:30 pm (Please indicate on the registration form your first choice and second choice for the allotted time.)
LOCATION:
Oakland University, Pawley Hall Room 493
COST:
$100.00 per person OR $125 for 2 adults in the same family
