Concert-goers will “Love It Live” again in 2008 at Meadow Brook Music. The concert venue’s 2008 schedule was recently released by Palace Sports and Entertainment, which operates the venue. The Meadow Brook Music Festival schedule includes such renowned artists as James Taylor, Crosby, Stills & Nash and Chris Isaak.
More than two-thirds of the summer outdoor events will include affordable $10 or $15 lawn tickets or will offer specially discounted four-packs of lawn tickets. Meadow Brook events offering the special $10 or $15 lawn price include comedian Tracy Morgan, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra at Meadow Brook, and George Thorogood & The Destroyers/Buddy Guy.
“We are excited about our summer event line-up. It contains a great blend of big-name acts and a wide variety of entertainment, from rock festivals to country stars, from classical music to classic rock, from comedy to family shows and everything in between,” said Tom Wilson, PS&E President and CEO. “Of course, we recognize our state’s current economic situation so we have worked diligently to provide a variety of affordable pricing options including $10 tickets or specially-priced lawn 4-packs for as many events as possible.”
In addition, Palace Sports and Entertainment has expanded the number of top summer tours providing special discounts on four-packs of lawn tickets. Meadow Brook Music Festival shows in the promotion include Trace Adkins with Kellie Pickler, “Weird Al” Yankovic and Chris Isaak.
