Old student e-mail accessible until May 1

Oakland University student e-mail accounts were successfully transitioned to Webmail Powered by Google April 2. Student e-mails received before the transition are still archived and accessible on the OU e-mail server. However, students must take action to import their old e-mails and contact lists into their new accounts before May 1, when student e-mails and contact lists on the OU server will be permanently deleted.

Detailed instructions for importing old e-mail are located on the Webmail Powered by Google Frequently Asked Questions page (item 13). Full documentation for Webmail Powered by Google is available on the UTS E-mail Services Web site.

Students who need assistance transferring their old mail should contact the UTS Helpdesk at helpdesk@oakland.edu or (248) 370-4357.
