Oakland University and Upland Hills Ecological Awareness Center will host the Third Annual Earth Day Expo on Saturday, April 19 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Oakland Center. The no-cost event will offer the community a chance to celebrate Earth Day and learn about healthy alternatives for Earth-friendly living.

There will also be presentations by leading educators and policymakers, Earth-friendly music and entertainment, natural arts and crafts for kids and free services including massages and yoga classes.
The Earth Day Expo is the place to celebrate Earth Day, to discover healthy alternatives for Earth-friendly living, and to make the connection between healthy products, people and planet.
“For 30 years, Upland Hills EAC has taught about ecological awareness. The expo builds on this effort to offer practical steps that consumers can take to improve the quality of their lives, community and environment,” said John Batdorf, UHEAC executive director. “The Earth Day Expo is about connecting people to the businesses and organizations that are leading the way to healthier and more sustainable lifestyles.”
