OU, MBT announce new agreement

Oakland University and Meadow Brook Theatre have signed a new operating agreement for the 2008–2009 production year. The new agreement begins July 1, 2008.

“A measure of Oakland University’s reputation in the arts stems from the residence of Meadow Brook Theatre on our campus,” said John Beaghan, Oakland University Vice President for Finance and Administration. “We are pleased to to be a continuing part of the theatre’s role as one of southeast Michigan’s premiere cultural offerings.”

“As always, Oakland University has played a key role in ensuring our success and we are grateful to them for continuing to recognize the importance of the arts on this campus and in the surrounding community,” said Cheryl Marshall, acting director of Meadow Brook Theatre. “We look forward to continuing this partnership.”
