Oakland University alumni and friends will gather at the 14th annual Alumni Awards Banquet on Saturday, November 8, 2008, to honor those who have achieved success in business, community service, volunteerism and more. The celebration will also include special recognition of previous alumni award recipients.

Distinguished Alumni Service Award is OU’s highest alumni honor and recognizes outstanding alumni leadership and service to the alumni association and the university.
Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award recognizes outstanding professional achievement and/or contributions to the community.
Spirit Award recognizes exemplary volunteer service to the university.
Odyssey Award recognizes alumni who seek to exemplify OU’s motto “to seek virtue and knowledge”.
Honorary Alumnus/a Award recognizes an individual who has not graduated from OU but who has given outstanding service to the university.
