Presidential Diversity Award nominations due March 21

University Diversity and Compliance is accepting nominations for the Presidential Diversity Award, which was created in 2005 to recognize faculty and staff who promote diversity on campus.

The Presidential Diversity Award will recognize the contributions and accomplishments of one faculty and one staff member for being proactive in creating and fostering diversity.

Nominees must demonstrate diversity in teaching, research or service or create a diverse and inclusive work and learning environment.

Each award recipient will receive $500 and other recognition.

OU faculty, staff and students can nominate a faculty or staff member for the award by completing the Presidential Diversity Award Nomination Form and returning it to the UDC Office, 203 Wilson Hall. Faculty and staff also can nominate themselves. The nomination form will be sent to faculty and staff mailboxes and is available in the UDC office, 203 Wilson Hall. The nomination deadline is Friday, March 21.
