With the Summit League Tournament fast approaching, the men’s basketball conference tournament schedule was announced Sunday, March 2. No. 3 seed Oakland University will play No. 6 seed Western Illinois in the men’s quarterfinals on Sunday, March 9 at 8:30 p.m. CT.
The women’s conference schedule was announced Tuesday, March 4, with the OU women’s team clinching the No. 1 seed! They will play No. 8 seed Centenary in the women’s quarterfinals on Saturday, March 8 at noon CT.
All tournament games will be played March 8-11, 2008 at John Q. Hammons Arena in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Tickets for the tournament are available by calling (918) 560-0205. Ticket prices are as follows:

Prior to the women’s game on Saturday, March 8, a FREE pep rally brunch will be held at 9:30 a.m. for Golden Grizzlies fans and friends at the Tulsa Marriott Southern Hills in the Sequoia Ballroom. The Marriott is located at 1902 East 71st Street in Tulsa. There is no cost to attend the pep rally brunch, but please RSVP by Friday, March 7 at 11:00 a.m. CT by calling the OUAA event hotline at 248-364-6140 or email OUAA@oakland.edu.
