Nominations being accepted for AP Bonus Award

In recognition of the many outstanding accomplishments of Oakland University’s AP employees, the university is pleased to open nominations for the bonus award program for calendar year 2007. The bonus award for 2007 is $1,500.

The bonus award fund, established specifically for this recognition, honors exemplary service and exceptional contributions made by individual AP employees.

Supervisors, peers or co-workers may nominate colleagues or employees may self-nominate using the AP Bonus Award Nomination Form, which is available on the University Human Resources Announcements Web site.

The nomination form should state the basis for the nomination, focusing on the employee contributions above and beyond his or her job responsibilities as they relate to the AP Bonus Award meritorious performance criteria.

Nominations may be forwarded to the next-level supervisor for additional comments or sent directly to the president or divisional vice president. Employees who did not meet expectations on their last performance appraisal will not be eligible to receive this award. A detailed explanation of the AP Bonus Award nomination process is available online.

The deadline for submitting a bonus nomination is Wednesday, March 5, 2008. The AP Bonus Awards will be announced in late March. If you have any questions, please contact Mike LaFave at (248) 370-3477 or lafave@oakland.edu.
