Are you an incoming freshmen or transfer student? Have you checked out The Grizzly Den, Oakland University’s online community for future Golden Grizzlies?
If not, now is the perfect time.
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is holding a special drawing for Grizzly Den users. By logging in and exploring the online community, admitted students will automatically be entered into a drawing to win a free iPod. The winner will be selected on Thursday, February 14.
The Grizzly Den helps bridge the gap from admitted student to enrolled student. Users can chat with OU advisers and staff members; post questions to a message board and receive prompt answers; check their OU e-mail and find links to key Web sites; get the latest campus news and special announcements; and download important documents.
Chat topics range from academic programs to student life to orientation and more. Some chats focus on a particular program or aspect of campus life. The following chats run from 6:30 – 8 p.m.:
Admitted students may sign up ahead of time, or drop in on the chat anytime between 6:30 and 8 p.m.
Users log in to The Grizzly Den with their OU Computing Account (their OU e-mail address and password). Visit the Grizzly Den log in page for instructions on logging in.
