On Saturday, Jan. 26, Oakland University police received a report that an alleged sexual assault took place in Hamlin Circle.
After investigation by police, it has been established that no assault or any other crime occurred, and that the report was untrue.
The reasons for the filing of the report are being reviewed internally.
