Alumni, faculty, staff and friends are invited to two tailgate parties to cheer on the Golden Grizzlies as the basketball teams take on North Dakota State. The men’s game will be Thursday, Jan. 31 and the women will play Monday, Feb. 4.
Both games start at 7 p.m. The tailgating will begin at 6 p.m. and will take place in the lower courts of the Recreation Center, next to the O’rena. There will be food, free game tickets and OU rally towels.
The event is free but a limited number of tickets are available. To attend and receive a free game ticket, RSVP by Jan. 25 to register@oakland.edu for the Jan. 31 game and events@oakland.edu for the Feb. 4 game. Include your name, campus address and the number of tickets desired. Tailgate tickets will be delivered by interoffice mail on Jan. 28.
