High school seniors looking forward to attending Oakland University during the fall 2008 semester are invited to an admitted student reception.
“We want to formally congratulate the students on being accepted to Oakland University,” said Dawn Aubry, associate director of Undergraduate Admissions. “It’s also a wonderful opportunity for students and their parents to get connected to OU and its resources.”
During the reception, recent OU graduates and current students will talk to the group about their experiences and the benefits of attending OU. Academic officials also will share information and answer questions about curriculum and students services.
Admitted students are encouraged to sign up for orientation during the reception.
Three receptions are scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 23; Monday, Jan. 28 and Tuesday, Jan. 29. The receptions are from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in the Oakland Center Banquet Rooms.
